What documents we need and how you can send them

Step 1 - Driving License

To validate your insurance policy with us, please send us :

  1. The front and back of the Driving Licence Photo Card for each driver:
  2. Paper Counterpart Driving Licence for each driver:

If you have an old style UK Driving Licences, we do accept copies of the old paper style UK licence. If you hold an EU licence we are aware that not all EU licences are issued with a counterpart so we will accept a copy of the front and back of your photo card.

Step 2 - Proof of No Claims Discount

If you have no claims discount, we will need some form of proof showing this: 

  1. Renewal letter, or;
  2. Letter from your last insurer

How to send these documents to us:

  • By email. Simply scan your documents, or take a photo of them on a smart phone - and email them to licenceonline@oneinsurancesolution.co.uk.  Please put your policy number in the subject line.
  • Or by post to:  One Insurance Solutions, Brightside Park, Severn Bridge, Aust, Bristol BS35 4BL. If you use the post, please make sure that they reach us within 23 days of your insurance start date. This will prevent your policy from being cancelled. We recommend that you send them by Recorded Delivery and send us your Track and Trace number.
