Birthday off

Birthday day off

No one wants to work on their birthday, right? So Brightside’s gift to you is your Birthday off! This is in addition to your normal annual leave allowance and should be taken on or around your birthday. If you work part-time or on a temporary basis, your day off is on a pro-rata basis.

We're all individuals, with different wants and needs so at Brightside we recognise this by giving you some flexibility on your holiday allowance. Holiday Flex enables you to purchase up to three additional days holiday.

Brightside operates three different Pension Schemes, what scheme you join depends on your role and salary. You will be automatically enrolled onto the pension scheme.

Life Assurance

When you join Brightside you will automatically join the Group Life Assurance Scheme which is a free benefit provided on behalf of Brightside Group by Legal and General. The benefit provides a lump sum of money of four times your annual basic earnings (up to a maximum of £1,250,000.00) to your chosen beneficiary if you were to die whilst in employment at Brightside.
