About the role

• You will take inbound calls from our customers helping them with queries about their existing policies.
• You’ll guide customers through the process to make a change to their existing policy; whether it’s a name or address change, or something more complex.
• Using your product knowledge and customer service skills you’ll resolve and offer solutions
• Building rapport and understanding each customer’s requirements you will seek opportunities to up sell or cross sell when appropriate.
• You will also be required to support customers who are unable to complete our online journey for setting up new policies or renewing their existing policies.

The full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week. Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 8am- 6pm and 9am – 1pm on Saturdays.

Typically, if you are opting for full time hours you’ll work a 7.5 hour shift with an unpaid lunch break and then one in three Saturdays between 9am-1pm (when you work a Saturday you’ll get the time off in lieu). We are looking for an Operational Performance and Planning Analyst to join our Performance and Planning team on a 6-month Secondment basis.

The Performance and Planning team are a centralised function which provide support across all of our locations.

About the role

You will be responsible for using best practice Resource Planning in customer facing roles through producing detailed MI and for analysing trends and changes in patterns. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing forecast modelling and to provide support for the outbound dialler function.

The key elements of your role will include:

• Production of daily/weekly/monthly business MI as required by the business
• Review actual data V forecast V scheduling data within the daily reports from the MI team to identify problems or exceptions
• Provide recommendations on staffing requirements based on volumes, service levels and available capacity
• To facilitate best practice within the outbound dialler function
• Review planning assumptions and analyse long term trends and impacts to service
• Analyse the advisor real time adherence to schedules and absence rates
• Provide recommendations on staffing requirements
• Wall Board management – including displays and incident management
• Serve as initial contact point for all issues regarding schedules
• Track incidents and produce ad hoc reports to evidence issues and offer solutions
• Adhoc responsibilities as required

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Pricing professional to join the Pricing & Analytics team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Pricing, you will be joining and helping lead a successful team of Pricing Analysts which have responsibility for the delivery of Broker pricing across a broad spectrum of insurance products.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing professional to gain experience in a leadership role, whilst working on multiple product areas. The key elements of your role will include:

• Accountability for the delivery of BAU Broker Pricing across the entire Brightside product base
• You will help to contribute to the enhancement of our pricing processes, tools and techniques and ensure our pricing decision-making is driven by best-in-class analytics
• You will have responsibility for reviewing performance, identifying pricing opportunities and proposing alternative pricing scenarios to meet growth objectives
• Working with internal stakeholders you will be a key contributor to the business strategy, delivering vital insight into how we further develop and grow our portfolio and strengthen our commercial propositions
• Responsibility for developing, maintaining and enhancing pricing models to allow detailed price scenario modelling
• Help to provide continual development for the overall capability of the Pricing Team, ensuring deployment of best-in-class analytics and statistical techniques

About you

• Proven ability to work in a team or independently
• Strong Insurance background with a sound understanding of the market and commercial components of insurance products
• Experience in the development and building of pricing models including Price elasticity and Life Time Value Modelling (i.e. strong statistical modelling experience including advanced regression, propensity and forecasting models)
• Expertise in Price Optimisation Software (i.e. Radar and Emblem, or Earnix)
• Experience with data science methodologies/techniques (e.g. PCA, GBM/XGBoost, clustering) in either R or Python
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise and influence decision-making in a competent and persuasive manner
• Strong personal leadership skills with the ability to teach and help others develop professionally
• Knowledge and use of Data Visualisation packages (e.g. Tableau)
• Understanding of insurance compliance, regulatory and legislative environment

This is a newly developed role within our structure and therefore will initially be offered as a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role after this point.

Our Marketing Department look after all aspects of Brightside’s brand, websites, customer communications and social media. They’re also responsible for both acquisition and retention marketing through PPC in all its forms, writing great content and offers to drive sales to both our online and offline journeys.

About the role

As the Head of Digital Marketing you will be responsible for developing and executing the Digital Marketing strategy across the Brightside Group, its sub-brands and where relevant, any affiliated partnerships.

You will create and drive new business acquisition demand for both online digital and offline businesses. In addition, the role has leadership on the design and execution of our digital journeys to optimise, initially, new customer acquisition performance but over time all aspects of the customer digital transactions. This will involve maximising brand presence using innovative ideas using all aspects of digital media, directed by consumer insight, to provide solutions and services. Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Create and execute a Digital Marketing strategy that drives customer acquisition and engagement to hit annual business plan targets, while driving brand consistency.
• Define key business challenges and needs in the digital space, building digital capability and best practice across the Group and ensure Brightside is maximising its digital potential.
• Ownership of the end to end online customer journey to include – web design and development, online trading and quote and buy journeys.
• Development of the Brightside Group’s digital marketing capabilities; owning the use of digital marketing tools, standards and training, drawing on competitor analysis and insight to advise the business.
• Increase ROI by maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the digital budget. Establish KPIs to manage performance and communicate results and value.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise campaigns and tactics to best fit the consumer needs/behaviours.
• Identify consumer trends, develop customer insights and monitor market opportunities to continually evolve and drive forward the Digital Marketing strategy.
• Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and innovation; identifying new opportunities to continuously evolve Brightside’s approach to digital.
• Educate and inspire the team to lead by example and generate digital opportunities and promote best practices to key stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level of commercial and product awareness to aid the growth of the business and ensure continued relevance of our products to clients/customers.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to understand how online performance and strategy impact the budgeted KPIs and make recommendations where and when action is required.
• Ensure the customer remains at the heart of the Digital Marketing strategy.

About you
