Whether customers are looking for private hire taxi insurance, public hire taxi insurance or we will find the most suitable Insurance policy for them, tailoring every aspect to meet their specific needs.

About the Role

  • Your main place of work will be at home. There will be some requirement to travel to our office if required for meetings etc. and therefore you will need to live within an hour of one of our offices in Bristol, Southampton, or Torquay.
  • You’ll spend your time speaking to potential customers over the telephone, generating new business sales and helping them renew their existing policies.
  • Sharing your knowledge on our insurance products and giving interested customers real reasons to buy
  • Identifying opportunities to offer additional products and services
  • It’s a fast-paced environment, so you’ll be the kind of person who thrives on busy days, converting leads, upselling and working to targets.
  • This a varied role, as all our customers have individual needs and therefore require bespoke insurance policies that meets their individual circumstances
  • You’ll work a 37.5-hour week. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-5.30pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm. You will be required to work one late shift per week from 10.30am – 7pm and one in four Saturdays from 9am – 1pm.

About you

It goes without saying that you will be at your best when you are helping customers by delivering exceptional service. Ideally you will also have experience of working to targets in a sales-based environment but if you haven’t we will consider your application if you have experience of working in a fast paced environment with a focus on performance.

You will:

  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to adapt your style to each customer
  • Enjoy working to and exceeding performance targets and closing sales
  • Be energetic and have a positive approach to problem solving
  • Have the ability to manage your own workload, be organised and understand how to prioritise

Day to day you’ll be managing a team of between 10 – 14 Customer Consultants within a contact centre environment. Your team spend most of their time speaking to new or existing customers discussing their insurance needs.

The key elements of your role will include:

  • Leading and supporting a team of front-line Customer Consultants to provide exceptional customer service and KPI’s.
  • Develop and maintain high levels of team member motivation and morale.
  • You’ll build positive relationships across the team; creating an environment that facilitates strong performance and increases profitability.
  • You will regularly meet and communicate with your team to engage and motivate them as individuals to achieve specific and agreed targets.
  • We’ll need you to ensure that the team provide exceptional customer service and that we meet and exceed agreed SLA’s.
  • You will be accountable for monitoring & managing performance to keep your team on track, recognising achievements and tackling under performance.
  • You will coach and develop to equip your team with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to increase capability and raise performance standards/targets.
  • It will be your responsibility to stay up to date with new initiatives to interpret and pass on new product/technical/customer and organisational developments and cascade this to your team.
  • Ensuring and monitoring team performance relating to regulatory requirements and ensuring this is embedded throughout the team will be key.
  • Other responsibilities as reasonably required.

About you

  • Experience of managing a team within a contact centre environment
  • Strong performance management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience and experience of dealing with escalated complaints
  • Experience of leading, developing, engaging and coaching a contact centre team
  • Ability to analyse performance data and provide recommendations
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your style when needed
  • Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment
  • Effective multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage a large and varied workload
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience of working within the Insurance/Financial services industry however this isn’t essential.
  • Ability to work independently and virtually, both personally and as a leader.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Resourcing Partner to join the Recruitment Team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Talent and Resourcing, you will be joining a small team that operate a successful direct sourcing model to recruit into all areas of the business. You will have responsibility for managing the end to end recruitment process on specialist roles within our Technology, Trading, Finance, Change, Compliance and Marketing departments as well as supporting on recruitment within our multi-site contact centre operation.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, provide expert knowledge and share best practice on all recruitment activity.

The key elements of your role will include:

  • To source, attract, screen, select and on-board talented individuals across all areas of the business
  • To provide comprehensive end to end recruitment delivery at a range of levels by sourcing via direct channels
  • Use a variety of recruitment methods, including market mapping and LinkedIn Recruiter, to ensure a thorough understanding of competitor market to assist in headhunting of senior hires
  • Conduct screening interviews for direct candidates / provide feedback / issue psychometric tests
  • Work with management to identify recruiting needs, develop effective recruiting plans and strategies, as well as provide regular updates and feedback to hiring managers
  • Review CV’s and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, both face-to-face and virtually
  • Provide candidate feedback after interviews
  • Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration
  • Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements, including industry regulations, employment law, data protection and health & safety

About you

  • An excellent understanding and proven experience of successfully using a variety of sourcing methods and advertising channels
  • Experience of managing the full recruitment cycle either in-house or agency side
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and manage key stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal direction

About the role

  • You will take inbound calls from our customers helping them with queries about their existing policies.
  • You’ll guide customers through the process to make a change to their existing policy; whether it’s a name or address change, or something more complex.
  • Using your product knowledge and customer service skills you’ll resolve and offer solutions
  • Building rapport and understanding each customer’s requirements you will seek opportunities to up sell or cross sell when appropriate.
  • You will also be required to support customers who are unable to complete our online journey for setting up new policies or renewing their existing policies.

You’ll work a 37.5-hour week. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm (9-5pm & 10-6pm)  and one in three Saturdays from 9am – 1pm (when working the Saturday you will have a half lieu day in that week)

About You

  • Whilst working remotely definitely has its benefits we have learnt that it isn’t for everyone so you must be comfortable working independently and without a physical team around you.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced customer service environment with excellent customer service skills.
  • You will need to be able to understand customer’s needs effectively showing ownership, empathy, and resolution.
  • Strong verbal communication skills are a must with the ability to adapt your style when needed.
  • You will need to be enthusiastic and engaging with a positive attitude and approach.
  • It is important that you are self-motivated, driven and resilient in order meet and exceed your performance targets
